Through the Early Childhood Development Collaboration (ECDC), Smart Beginnings of Greater Richmond brings together a broad array of public and private organizations to provide an avenue for shared learning, networking, community planning, and partnership development. Members include child care providers, health providers, resource and referral agencies, county health departments, state and local social services, family service organizations, faith community, universities, museums, businesses, schools, and more. ECDC meets twice a year, and membership is open to any organization or individual with a commitment to our region’s vision that all children, ages birth to five, are healthy, well-cared for, and ready to succeed in school and in life. Throughout the year, Smart Beginnings supports the networking, learning and collaboration of members through this ECDC listserv. The listserv, sponsored by ConnectRichmond, helps the community share early childhood development information like research, policy announcements, grant announcements, ECDC meeting reminders and minutes, community activities, and queries from members. This list serv for people interested in early childhood development is one of Connect Richmond's services. Connect Richmond offers community-building and capacity-enhancing tools for nonprofit organizations, civic leaders, volunteers, anyone working to maintain a healthy and secure quality of life for all citizens in metro Richmond. Connect Richmond (www.connectrichmond.org) manages these lists for the good of the community. It also offers a general interest list serv for nonprofit leaders. Nearly 4,000 people in metro Richmond, representing more than 900 organizations and agencies, use the Connect Richmond list. Subscribing to Grecdc
Subscribe to Grecdc by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
