Subject: FW: DPI presents Halifax Triangle Events This Week!
Hello Everyone!
The Halifax Merchant Committee of Downtown Petersburg Incorporated proudly
presents the following upcoming events this week at The Historic Halifax
Triangle! The Triangle is located at the intersection of South Avenue and
Halifax Streets in the Downtown.
Halifax Triangle Flag Raising Ceremony
Wednesday, December 13 at 12 p.m.
Come join us as we celebrate the history and future of the Halifax
commercial district with Mayor Mickens, members of Council and City
Administration. The flag raising will be conducted by the honor guard of the
Petersburg Sheriff's department promptly at 12, so make plans to arrive
early at this most anticipated event.
First Annual Halifax Triangle of Lights Celebration
Friday, December 15 at 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Ring in the holidays with us as we celebrate through song with area choirs,
the Boy and Girl Scouts and the entire Halifax community. This event
features the decoration and lighting of the Halifax Triangle Holiday Tree,
and a special visit from Santa! There will be free gifts for children under
the age of twelve. This annual event will have something for the entire
family to enjoy and we look forward to seeing you there!
Happy Holidays!
Jim Wilson
President
