Presentation on the Future of Monroe Park

Thursday, October 18th, 2007 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the first floor
meeting room in VCU's Brandt Hall 
located at 720 West Franklin Street.

Please join the Monroe Park Advisory Council to hear a presentation from
the Monroe Park Design Team on the draft Master Plan for the park and
provide additional input into this planning effort.  The plan is being
developed by the council with the City of Richmond Department of
Community Development and Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community
Facilities.  It will be used to guide future programming and
improvements to the park. 

In April nearly 100 Monroe Park stakeholders: VCU students, area
residents, businesses, and institutional representatives gathered to
plan the future of Monroe Park.  The Monroe Park Advisory Council and
Design Team used the results of that workshop to develop the draft plan
that will be presented at the meeting.
