[Seniorresources] Older Americans Month Luncheon

The Richmond Chapter of the National Caucus and Center on Black Aged,
Inc. (NCBA) is pleased to announce its 23rd Annual Older Americans Month
Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 11:00
a.m. at the Arthur Ashe Center, 3001 North Boulevard. The luncheon
takes it's theme from the theme for Older Americans Month, "Choices for
Independence-Independence + Dignity + Choice = Healthy Aging." Exhibits
and information of interest to senior citizens will be on display from
11:00 a.m. until Noon.
The luncheon is co-sponsored by Senior Connections, The Capital Area
Agency on Aging, the Affiliated Seniors of Metropolitan Richmond and the
Richmond Public Schools. Tickets are $15.00 per person. For more

NCBA's mission is to improve the quality of life for seniors, especially
African Americans and other minorities by focusing public attention on
issues and challenges confronting this population. NCBA strives to
serve as an advocate for seniors on issues related to employment,
housing, nutrition and health by funding or promoting programs that
address these issues.
