Senior Connections to Hold Flu Shot Clinic

Senior Connections, The Capital Area Agency on Aging will hold a Flu
Shot Clinic on Friday, October 13 from

11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Clinic will take place in the third floor
conference room of the Agency's downtown location,

24 East Cary Street, Richmond.

The shots will be administered by nurses from the Instructive Visiting
Nurse Association (IVNA). Flu shots are free for

those with Medicare Part B.Without Medicare, flu shots cost $35.00 per
person.

The Clinic is hosted by the Agency's Foster Grandparent Program. This
program places Foster Grandparent volunteers

to work with children at schools, hospitals and other youth-oriented
facilities. Each year, more than 80 of our Foster

Grandparent volunteers provide assistance to children to help enhance
their development and confidence.
