Dear Agencies:

AROS INC. is a non-profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization, which manages The Grace House (TGH) in Chesterfield County. It is a transitional home for single women and women with children (age 10 or younger) in need. TGH offers: life skills sessions and individual coaching, available community resources and referral services, advocacy and individual-centered supportive services.

TGH is a residential home located in a beautiful peaceful quiet setting. The house accommodates up to four individual people including one mother with one child. Residents are assigned their own bedroom that allows for privacy. Meal times can be shared in a large warm kitchen area. One of the bedrooms has a ½ bathroom, which will be shared by two adults. The charges range from $425-$495 per month for the program fees (rent). The residents are allowed to remain in the house for up to 24 months and then they must transition out.

During their stay, residents will work with an educator to set personal goals and receive educational sessions. Our success is dependent on our effort to educate and encourage. Workshops are held regularly for residents on topics such as money management, healthy relationships and personal development topics that will allow them to transition into personal and economic self-sufficiency.

To qualify for the program applicants must:
*	Be at least 19 years of age
*	Be employable within 6 months of starting the program and have a source of income
*	Have a high school diploma or be able to complete a GED within six months
*	Demonstrate interest and commitment to changing and improving their lives
*	Be able to live independently in a shared living environment with limited supervision
*	Agree to comply with conditions listed in the Resident Agreement
*	Be able to satisfy the financial obligations of the program
*	Be willing to attend all personal development workshops/sessions
*	Have a source of transportation
*	Be able to pay rent ($425-$495 per month) and a one time application processing fee of $50.00
*	Be clean and sober for one year
