Save the Date (9/14/07) Second Annual VCU Long Term Care Conference

The Second Annual VCU Long Term Care Conference will take place 9/14/07 at
the Omni Hotel in Richmond. This year's theme is ?transitions and
post-acute care?. This conference provides hospital (care coordination)
and post-acute care management teams (nursing home, home health, and
hospice) with state-of-the-art information vital to strategic planning and
quality improvement. Nationally known researchers, analysts and speakers
include keynote Mary Naylor (RN, PhD) from the University of Pennsylvania
speaking on care transitions and quality, Michael Gloth, MD from Baltimore
speaking on electronic record solutions, and Karen Pace, RN, PhD from the
National Quality Forum speaking on home care and hospice. The unique
inter-disciplinary focus of the conference affords opportunities for
networking and collaboration across organizational boundaries. In addition
to plenary talks there will be breakout sessions and opportunities for
dialogue, with CEUs awarded. More details will follow soon. Hope to see
you there.
