[Seniorresources] Free Computer Classes

Senior Connections is offering free computer classes to train seniors and others to locate and navigate reliable web sites to obtain useful information on Medicare, including prescription drug coverage. Classes will be held the fourth Thursday of every month from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM in the first floor computer training center at 24 E. Cary Street. Other times are available by special arrangement. The next free session is September 27, 2007.
To register please call (804) 672-4481 and leave name and telephone number for a call back confirmation. Attendees must have basic computer skills and experience with accessing the Internet. The class will not address Medicare or prescription drug questions during the session, but personalized counseling is available through the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) (804) 343-3014. 
Senior Connections also offers beginning computer classes. For information and dates please call (804) 672-4481 and leave information for return call.
